Dopamine Notetaker — End User License Agreement (EULA)

TL;DR
- Build unlimited products for yourself or your clients

- Cannot create templates, boilerplates, or competing products
This License Agreement is entered into between Dopamine, represented by Jonathan Beurel, and you, the user ("Licensee"). By downloading or using the Product, you agree to these terms.
1. Grant of License
Dopamine grants Licensee a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use the Dopamine Notetaker boilerplate.
You can:
- Create unlimited End Products (SaaS, websites, apps)
- Use for personal or commercial purposes
- Build products for unlimited clients
- Sell the End Products to end users
- Modify the source code for your products
Updates
Includes access to updates for 12 months from purchase. After this period, you may continue using your version but won't receive new updates unless renewed.
2. Restrictions
You cannot:
- Redistribute the Product or derivatives separately from an End Product, neither as code nor as design assets
- Create End Products that allow End Users to build their own End Products using the Product or derivatives
- Create a theme, template, boilerplate, or starter kit using the Product and make it available for sale or free
- Create a "website builder" or "app builder" where end users can build using components derived from the Product
- Convert the Product to another framework and make it available for sale or free
- Share access to the Product with individuals not covered by this license
- Use the Product to create anything that may be deemed, in Dopamine's sole discretion, to be competitive or in conflict with Dopamine's business
In simple terms: use Dopamine Notetaker for anything you like, as long as it doesn't compete with Dopamine Notetaker.
3. Example Usage
✓ Allowed
- • SaaS meeting assistant for your company
- • Commercial app with paid subscriptions
- • Modifying code for your business needs
✗ Not Allowed
- • Creating a "meeting assistant boilerplate" for sale or free
- • Creating a template or starter kit using the code
- • Publishing the source code in a public repository
- • Sharing credentials with outsiders
4. Ownership
Dopamine retains all intellectual property rights in the Product. This Agreement does not transfer ownership. You own the End Products you create.
5. Transferability
Merger, Acquisition, or Asset Sale
This license may be transferred to an acquiring entity, provided that:
- • Dopamine is notified in writing within 30 days
- • The acquirer agrees to all terms of this Agreement
- • The acquirer does not compete directly with Dopamine Notetaker
Otherwise, this license is non-transferable without prior written consent.
6. Warranty & Liability
The Product is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
Dopamine is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Product.
7. Support
Technical support via email is included for 12 months from purchase. This covers installation, configuration, and usage questions. Custom development is not included.
8. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Dopamine may terminate immediately if you breach any terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use and destroy all copies.
9. Refunds
Due to the non-returnable nature of this product (digital source code), we do not offer refunds.
10. Enforcement
If you are found to be in violation of the license, access to the Product will be terminated immediately.
The copyright of the Product is owned by Dopamine. You are granted only the permissions described in this license; all other rights are reserved. Dopamine reserves the right to pursue legal remedies for any unauthorized use outside the scope of this license.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of France. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris, France.
Definitions
- Licensee: The individual or business entity who purchased the license.
- Product: The Dopamine Notetaker source code, documentation, and associated files made available after purchase.
- End Product: Any artifact produced that incorporates the Product or derivatives of it. End Products must not provide End Users with access to the underlying source code derived from the Product.
- End User: A user of an End Product created by the Licensee.
- Client: An individual or entity receiving custom professional services directly from the Licensee, produced specifically for that entity. Customers of SaaS products are not considered Clients.
